Calamities have always been detriments in the his2ry of humankind.But never as devastating as of 2day.The onslaught of Typhoon Ondoy strucked the country last Septmbr 26,2009 which was a nightmare to those victims who had lost their love ones and most-treasured properties.Billions of pesos worth of agricultural and infrastructures have been destroyed.Not only Ondoy did it,but even Pepeng reinforced the massive destruction.These are reminders that servants of God should never be indifferent.Amidst those calamities,we still stand erect,resilient and durable.Man became a greater person because of withstand calamities. People are expecting much from 1 another...Relying more likely from each other.In times of natural disasters,we became united and composed.Helping hands greatly extended to those needy.Mutual support,understanding and loving-care bring about the best fraternal coexistence.We always think the right of evry1 2 live a decent life in accordance with their own cultural identity;support one another in a common effort in considering our differences as an insurmountable barrier.Furthermore,one takes side of the helpless 2 speak out 4 those who have no voice and work effectively 2 change the situations out of the conviction that no one can be happy alone. Nevertheless,Filipinos are desirous 2 make evry e4t possible by offering times real hope and enthusiasm as a better citizen above all faithful 2 God.Encouragement shows all effort 2 promote solidarity since technological progress exposed the world 2 a growing risk of both natural and man-made destructions.Negligence of responsibilities lead 2 various disasters.Hence,we were in deep slumber 4 so long.However,according 2 Pres. Manuel L. Quezon and I quote,"Filipinos are not inferior 2 any man of any race.His physical,intellectual and moral qualities are as excellent as those of the proudest stock of mankind."So, Filipinos.....WAKE UP AND ARISE!!! -ASAP'09-
