You gave your hand to me
And then you said hello
And i can hardly speak
My heart is beating so
You dont know the one
Who dreams of you at night
Who longs to kiss your lips
And longs to hold you tight
They think you know me well
But you dont know me
To you im just a friend
Thats all ive ever been
You gave your hand to me
And then you said goodbye
I watched you walk away
Beside that lucky gal
You will never know
How much i love you so
Still grieving alone
Of a love lost and gone
