Hi everyone, a new feature has been implemented in the inbox which will allow you to fully clear a dialog with a user. Previously, you could only delete your received messages within a dialog, and if you did this then the sender would no longer see these sent messages which was slightly confusing. Now you can delete both sides of the conversation in your own inbox, without affecting what the other person sees. We hope this will improve your inbox experience.
The other news I want to bring you is that development of a brand new version of 2WapWorld is already in progress! -king- This new version is being designed with smartphones in mind (Android, BlackBerry, i-Phone etc), and will retain all of the existing features with a range of improvements. The main differences will be a more modern style and better ease of use for touchscreen phones. The prototype of the new-look main menu can be viewed at the link below, along with the new and improved inbox which is linked from that page. Work is still in progress for the other parts of the site so you will only find the old versions linked. The theme used is Gumgold for the development stage, however other optional colour styles will be added in the finished version.
I would particularly appreciate feedback from smartphone/touchscreen users as the new look is being designed with these in mind. The new version should however work just as well for older phones, but the existing version of 2WapWorld will of course remain online for all users who feel it suits their phone better.

I'm glad you find it a user-friendly experience. I suppose we do have a lot of forums now, I wanted the forums list to be on a single page but then it's clearer just how many there are. We'll have to think carefully about whether some forums can be combined for the greater good, or perhaps we can find a different arrangement for the more niche forums.
Interesting suggestion about using the promise of an ad-free site to get people to register who are viewing in guest mode
My hope too is that if 2wap is technically better and more responsive to users than other mobile-focused social sites we may gradually attract migration from those.

Why do u folks wipe out my inbox without permission? Stop it! I even forgot now who was i talking with and what was i talking about when i last visited.. Cuz it's fuckin gone man, bloody gone like a deer after a sound of a gunshot.. Don't do this again

It has long been established that opened, unsaved messages are deleted automatically after 21 days. In light of your feedback I have increased this to 60 days. We are considering adding a premium feature that will allow users to automatically save all their received messages (this will cost pluses).
