Democracy
Intro - The Term Democracy Originates from The Greek Word "DèmokratÃa" Meaning "Rule of the People".
In a Democratic State/Country/ Territory the People of the Country are Directly or Indirectly Responsible to Choose their Ruler.
Advantages
1.It Gives all the Basic and Fundamental Rights to the People.
2.Government has to work Under a Limit (Constitution)
3.All Person have the Equal Rights.
4.People are Allowed to Elect their Representative.
5.Elections are Held At Regular Basis.
6.Democracy Builds a Sense of Nationalism in the People.
Disadvantage
1.This System of Government Needs Honest,Non Corrupt And Patriotic People
2.As this System has Many Branches , The Decisions are took very Slowly.
3.This System of Government has multiple Political Parties , So Different People are Followers of Different Parties.
Other Forms of Government
1.Monarchy
2.Military Dictatorship
Overall,Democracy is better than Any form of Government becoz of Its Public Friendly Rules.

The term democracy is coined from the greek words "demos" and "kratia" meaning rule by the people..it was the method adopted in greece after the treaty of westphalia was signed in 1648...the term means a system whereby the decision of the masses takes precedence over that of individuals within a state.
