the idea for it would b that anyone can put a case up that hasnt been solved and every1 could put as much infomation about the cases as they can find and we all could work together to try solve them. there are thousands of cold cases around the world that can be looked at and its sumthing every1 can be involved in

think of jack the ripper case its know how and when it was done but not by who, back with that case they didnt have technology like now they didnt even have simple fingerprinting so with old cases like this it comes down to searching for info and trying to work out with only the information thats gathered as to who the killer is. black dahlia they know how she was killed but not sure on when or by who they had a little help since fingerprinting was only just brought in but mostly you wld need to rely on information found. i cld go on listing different cases that r unsolved but these 2 r the biggest even to the point that movies have been made about both and both r in different countries and over 50 yrs old. think of the knowledge u can learn with going back in history try to achieve what so many others have tried and failed.

theres always jack the ripper its a famous case that they still dnt know who dont it or why to be honest. i can give you a link which has alot of info about it withthe suspects (well most of them) the victims and alot of other info
