I have seen sunshine and I have seen rainbows In Her Eyes... I have seen faith and I have seen trust In Her Eyes... I have seen tomorrow and I have seen forever In Her Eyes... I have seen love In Her Eyes... I have seen coldness and I have seen emptiness In Her Eyes... I have seen sadness and I have seen sorrow In Her Eyes... I have seen Death and I have seen our Love's last breath In Her Eyes... I've seen empathy and I have seen unconcern In Her Eyes... I've seen the Darkness and I have seen the Night In Her Eyes... Well written though. It has meaning beyond expression, the choice of words are astounding and the feelings it evokes is one none other can compare with. The eyes are the windows to the soul, the eyes show what's in the heart. Falling in love is in the eyes and falling out of love is in the eyes too. Eyes never lie, it shows happiness and sadness but sometimes happiness and sadness plays hide and seek.. (That's what I think). The lips may smile and the eyes may shine in happiness but the sadness that hides in the heart can't be seen by anyone else but felt by the person whose eyes we look into. Really heartfelt poem, well done!
