I can't imagine a life without at least one dog in it. Thankfully, we've a big enough garden and space in the house for them to play around. They are NOT watch dogs. We dont expect them to bark at strangers and scare away the mail man. In fact, even the mail man loves them, he brings them a packet of biscuits every once in a while.(cute!) It's great to watch them all play together... If ever I feel low, I play with them and they lift my mood in seconds! The most amazing thing is their different personalities... Rocky - a true gentle-dog! Huge! But a sweetheart! He's a little blind cz of age. Tequila - pit bull she may be, but she LOVES kids. She has a talking sorta voice. Toby - MISCHIEVOUS!!! Loves to walk in to all our neighbour's houses and get petted. Mickey - selfish and old, but a real flirt. Rove- minds his own business most of the times. Used to be the pack leader. Laika - I brought her mother home from the street, long time back, when she was pregnant. Laika is a little old now, but still think she's a puppy. Trigger - latest addition to the family. Eats too much and hates to run. Loves to bite Toby's ears.

I'll add pics of all of them sometime. Toby and Tequila has taken up a lot of space in my gallery, already. You could say they are my favourites.-gap- I made this topic...just! Lol! You may share your pet stories here. And I didn't add this in the nature forum as it fits life style better...in my case, at least. Cz after all... My pets ARE my life! 8-)

I'm more cat lover,right now I don't have a pet but I'm gonna get a persian kitten in september, my friend's cat is pregnant and she promised she'll give me a kitten. Lol I already bought a box and choosed a name for my unborn kitten-lol-.

I'm not much a cat person... I'm a little scared of cats cz they're unpredictable. But wow! Persian cats are gorgeous and proud! So what's the name gonna be??? Come on! Spill the beans! :P

The dog's name was Monkey) Bindu - Trigger I's mum. I think that was it...

Pets are one important part of family.

Well i dont have time for this kind of crap hobby.i love humans and i love those people who love humans.

If we keep pets that doesnt mean we dont love humans. Actually the fact is dogs love man more than man can ever love one another. And secondly this is not crap if it is someones hobby you should not have problems.

Read carefully:I didnt say,why u guys have this hobby rather this i called it a crap hobby because i dont have interest in animals but humans.if u think wild things can be so sincere and loyal so what u doing among the human.

Only because man is sincere we should kick out animals? And what do mean by what are we doing among humans ? Of course we are humans who love humans and animals too (without expecting sincerity from both). And specially i dont believe in loving and caring someone only if i get sincerity or something in return.

u do realise there r humans out there that act alot worse than a wild animal, and wild animals also on act out of protectivness and fear. humans act out of alot of other reasons apart from the same 1s as wild animals

Crappy hobby... :) Nice... See... In my POV, a person who can love an animal, can love anything and anyone. There's a lot more to tolerate when you love dogs. They dont understand our language. If they know that we love them, they will never attack us. Trust me... I learned this from my pit bull. When they wag their tail, we know it's sincere. When they come when called, we know they're not complaining under their breath. But see... A human can do all the nice things and turn against us in the blink of an eye. If you have the patience to love and look after a pet, then you can truly love other humans as you love yourself. If you think loving innocent animals is a crappy hobby, there can't be much love in your heart for anyone other than the ones you can benefit from.=)
