rich n poor;) by haris2010/07/13 18:26 One day, a father of a very wealthy family took his son on a trip to the country with the firm purpose of showin his son how poor people live. They spent a couple of days and nights on the farm of what would be considered a very poor family. On their return from their trip, the father asked his son, "How was the trip?"
"It was great, Dad."
"Did u see how poor people live?" the father asked.
"Oh yeah," said the son.
"So, tell me, what did you learn from the trip?" asked the father.
The son answered, "I saw that we hav one dog and they had four. We hav a pool that reaches to the middle of our garden, and they hav a creek that has no end. We hav imported lanterns in our garden, and they hav the stars at night. Our patio reaches to the front yard, and they hav the whole horizon. We hav a small piece of land to live on, and they hav fields that go beyond our sight. We have servants who serve us, but they serve others. We buy our food, but they grow theirs. We hav walls around our property to protect us; they hav friends to protect them."
The boy's father was speechless.
Then his son added, "Thanks, Dad, for showin me how poor we are." -lol- :P

you din't get what this topic is meant for? The boy has given a nice n touchin answer, he just showed the other side of the coin which we usually neglect to do so. . . .
Quote: Tundinho: U can't really blame the boy b'cos he talked according to the little knowledge he had as a kid but as life goes on if his dad should ask him the same question at the age of 20, it's gonna be quiet different from what he said as a boy. U can't compare the way a boy reason to that of an adult.
