Recently MACK 10 opened up about his fall-out with fellow WESTSIDE CONNECTION rap artist ICE CUBE.On interview with All Hip Hop mack unveiled that cubes wife n bro-in-law may hve caused the drama.Mack says We had an argument n guess it was taken the wrong way coz cubes wife was present, and he goes on to state that they would probably still be doing records if she wasnt present.He added that cubes bro-in-law was also disrespectful in a certain way. Dr Dre's Detox has gone from being highly anticipated album to a running joke about it being a myth.Dre calmed those nerves this month when he revealed that the album will definately come out this year, he also promised a single with Jay-Z which has yet to be delivered. While promoting his Beats By Dre Headphones he went on to share abit of his influences City Kraftwerk and Parliament Funkadelic when asked what he is currently listening to.

Rick Ross announced recently that his fourth official album, Teflon Don was due on June 29. As of this morning, that album is now planned for July 6 release.
Teflon Don, named partially after Ross' Rap moniker (Tephlon Da Don) from his late '90s work with Erick Sermon and others, including an appearance on "Ain't Shit To Discuss" from the EPMD member's 2000 album, Def Squad Presents: Erick Onasis.
Although confirmations have yet to be made, Jay-Z and Kanye West reportedly worked on the Def Jam rapper's latest album. The single "Super High" featuring Ne-Yo, released over a week ago.

Suge Knight Arrested For Assault With Deadly Weapon
Early this morning, Marion "Suge" Knight was arrested in the greater Los Angeles area, reports TMZ.com. The Death Row Records co-founder, and executive producer behind nearly a dozen platinum albums from Dr. Dre, 2Pac, Snoop Dogg, Tha Dogg Pound and others was apprehended while driving.
In addition to charges of assualt involving a firearm, Knight was reportedly driving with a suspended license. There is no word yet if the initial charges stem from a late March super-market robbery, said to have involved Luniz rapper Yukmouth. At that time, Knight was wanted by police.
According to reports, Knight remains in custody, with a bail set of *65,000.

Lil Wayne Confirms Contraband Reports, Says "I'll Be Home Soon"
Last week, it was reported that Lil Wayne's Rikers Island cell was found with musical contraband - an MP3 player and unauthorized headphones. The CEO of Young Money Records permitted a rare recording of a phone interview with friend and The Nino Brown Story collaborator, DJ Scoob Doo.
Within the brief call, Wayne confirmed those reports. "They tried to bang me with that," said the emcee, referring to the reprimand. "But I cant live without my music, Scoob. You know how it is, man. I needed my music." Lil Wayne did not speak on whether he was or will be punished for the infraction. Reports stated that the music player was confiscated immediately.
Speaking about his living conditions on Rikers Island, the multi-platinum Rap veteran said, "Im coolin, Ill be home soon." Perhaps due to his and DJ Scoob Doo's previous title, Wayne compared himself to the protagonist of the film, New Jack City. Its Nino Brown; I got the penthouse here at Rikers. I got my feet up, ya smell me?"
If his one-year sentence is reduced to the reported eight months for good behavior, Lil Wayne could be a free man as early as November. Drake has already received a lot of acclaim and it's impressive when one realizes he has yet to release his first official album. As he preps for the unveiling of Thank Me Later, he is still having the awards come in. Recently, he earned the honor of receiving seven nominations for this year's MuchMusic Video Awards, according to a report from Billboard.
"Successful " received a nomination for Best Hip Hop Video while "Over " and "Forever " earned him Best International Video nominations.
Drake led all nominees with seven nominations. Hedley had six and Justin Bieber followed with four.
Miley Cyrus is the co-host of the MuchMusic Awards and it will all take place on June 20 in Toronto.

Nas Speaks On Reggae Music And Bob Marley In New Interview
On the heels of the release of Distant Relatives, rapper Nas spoke with the Wall Street Journal in regards to his work with Damian Marley, his thoughts on reggae music and rap, and more.
They're both real music by people who are expressing themselves about the conditions around them, said Nas when asked about the similarities between Jamaican music and rap. Many of those conditions are similar. Jamaican music can be aggressive, soulful, smooth and exciting all at oncejust like hip-hop. At the same time, there's nothing like Jamaica in the United States. Jamaica is its own thing.
Nas also explained that hes inspired by Bob Marleys untouchable status and that he would someday hope to have that kind of effect on fans.
Everyone listens to himit's not a Jamaican thing or an American thingit's all over the world, Nas explained. I've always wished to be able to do that once, as much as he does it naturally and easily on this untouchable level, I'd want to do that.
