Classic games from the 8 and 16-bit eras will be uploaded here in zip format along with a mini review for each title. These games are suitable for playing on any PC (visit http://emulator-zone.com) or on smartphones with the correct emulator (check page 2 for Kriwil's guide to playing on Symbian phones).
Forum members may upload a new classic ROM along with a review of at least 50 words here for a reward of 20 pluses each time. :)
Note: by downloading any ROM you affirm than you own an official copy of the game.

the problem is, most of Gameboy Advance games r more than 5mb...kinda difficult to upload

ey yo ragno, i was wondering if u say a certain game is for NES, SUPER NES. Is that the same thing? as in, they play on the same emulator?

The games play on seperate emulators as they are different consoles. Check the attachments in my first post for the PC emulators. On smartphones the emulators are vNes and vSun (for Super NES).

Format: Super NES
Genre: Platform Adventure
Review: A spin-off of the Gargoyles Quest games on Nintendo's 8-bit consoles, this takes the unique gameplay of the original titles and manages to make it even more unique. You play as Firebrand, a gargoyle with the ability to cling to the side of walls and fly for a few seconds at a time, as well as spit fire projectiles at enemies. The game is set in a creepy land called the Ghoul Realm, which is full of strange creatures and platform environments. The levels are a blend of action, boss battles, exploration and seeking new powers and life upgrades - similar in some ways to Super Metroid, though less intense. Indeed, this is not the hardest game ever, but it offers enough challenge to make it enjoyable. If this is your first time playing as Firebrand you may be impressed by how good the controls are. There are also sections of the game where you can talk to other characters and mini games too, though these are merely sideshows to the platform action. The music is another high point of the game and compliments the atmosphere nicely. Overall this title comes highly recommended, and is ideal for playing on a mobile.
