ARITHMETIC



Four year old Johnny was very good at Arithmetic.

His parents were showing him off as usual at a party when Mrs John (a family friend) decided to test him.

'What is 2 + 3 Johnny?' Mrs John asked.

Johnny counts 2 fingers on one hand, another 3 fingers on his other hand and says '2+3 = 5'

'And what is 7 + 2?' 'Nine' says Johnny after checking his fingers.

'Ok' says Mrs John 'now don't count ur fingers, can you put your hands in your pocket and tell us what 5 + 5 is?'

Johnny reluctantly puts his hands in his pockets and wriggles trying hard to bring his hands together inside his trouser.

After a while, with smirk on his face, said, '5 + 5 is equal to 11'

HOW COME? Can you tell why he said 11.teeth.
