Rap music is the centerstone of hip-hop. This genre origins from African American culture. Indeed, there is no argument rappers are more frequently Afro-American than not. With history the tensions between races is still very significant on a social level in the States. Most commonly in city/urban environments where many "URBAN" rappers consider their roots to be. This can make it extremely difficult for people of other ancestral backgrounds to become involved in the style. So show no fear. Because the white rapper Eminem has changed this stereotype. When he went and proved, that music is blind and will always lean in favor of talent when it can. though potential white rappers should be aware of the risks of ridicule from their black hip-hop counterparts. Which means you might get thrown in a dumpster full of wonderbread right, doubtful. This leaves the differences in that skin color can be used to your advantage. Eminem regularly makes references to his race, and observes that this may have added to his success. As white music buyers feel they can relate to him better.

"At this launching point, Eminem fans have gone on to try music from others such as D12 - Eminem's rap group - and Dr Dre, a black rap artist who produces much of his music. Even the stupid horrible movie 8 Mile, has also been reviewed favorably for introducing a number of lesser-known artists to the Hip-Hop mainstream. Effectively, this has helped expose white culture more to the genre and further diminish the strong racial barriers which once were built. Thanks to this, it is probably easier now for white rappers to achieve success than it ever was before. Hence nobody of any culture should feel that they cannot attempt to RAP in Hip-Hop for any reason."

So if by reading this you can gain anything its. It doesn't matter what race you are, where you are from, what lifestyle you had. Cause you still have the ability to rap. You might even come to find out that more then 50% of all rappers who claimed they have had hard times. all came from upper middle class homes. According to vibe only 10 percent of rappers might actually have had a life they rap about. So what does this tell you most of your rap is going to be of fiction like Eminem or 50 cents movies, all works of fiction.
