adamjr2018/09/11 17:48 I know allot of people went down to the World Trade Center on September 11th. It literally mentally and physically affected their lives. Allot of people have gotten COPD, cancer, mental and physical illnesses.
I personally cannot fathom what they had been through it, but I see the outtakes of people who affected their lives. It not pretty to see.
I can remember back on September 11th working at a oil change company seeing schools being let out early. There was hardly no air plains in the air that day. It was extremely quiet. Unfortunately, the company did not have a TV, but we had heard the bad news on the radio.
One of our former employees was crawled up like a ball and like a little child crying because he know someone at the Trade Center. It was for real.
When I saw it on TV, my eyes we're glued to the TV. I could not believe it. It was like watching a fictional movie. Sadly, the action was real. Very real.
As me being a volunteer firefighter for many of year, I really want to go down there. However, there was nothing I could of done, but to pray, have my faith in God and hope that this will end real soon. Again, real soon.
I remember going to work on peoples vehicles. One of the customers look extremely sick and told me not to touch the inside of his vehicle. You can smell the sulfur a mile away. It smelled like rotten eggs. That's how bad it was. And why people have gotten sick.
My best friend worked construction on Building Seven. He was calling me on Nextel Direct Connect and telling me how really bad it was. Sadly, he never received a respirator until about 3 days later. Now as a result of him having no respirator, he now has COPD and is on a BiPAP machine with 3 liters of oxygen. He can't barely walk.
Another friend also has COPD, had a mental illness, and is on all types of medications. It literally affecting his mind. Unfortunately, he had to retire as a New York City paramedic. He was one of the First Responders when the first building got hit.
I can go on and on. But like I said, I was not there. However, I had seen peoples lives that was affected and heard all the horror stories. I hope and pray to God that this does not happen again.
May God bless all the victims of September 11th. May God bless you all. -usa-
