Im In a very a very rural location but fortunately they shoving masts everywhere even on sime the big HT electricity pylons have them
, and theres a Communications mast 2miles away on a high up hill , that's Great , but we still have black spots with zero coverage, and Unlike with other Radio Frequencies Mobile UHF is line of sight , and surprisingly going higher up on the Moors you get lesser signal probably only GPRS -nana- even though you maybe a thousand feet above a mast down in the valley ,if one if its directional antenna isnt point a bit uppy your FK.D.
.
Oh the joys of Radio waves i remember dabble in shortwave and amateur,/public cb radios , you could at times reach russia or USA from a 30ft rod on your roof and a 30w power output.
.
Do they have public CB radio in INDIA?
Im sure they must have the amateur radio as its worldwide and requires you to sit an exam and know morse code at so many words per minute
