Does EVERY shoe do this, or just one pair in
particular? If it's one pair (or several), it's
probably the shoes' fault and you should
gradually replace all the shoes that chew on
your feet with shoes that don't.
When faced with badly fitting shoes, most
people assume that it's either because there's
something wrong with their feet, or because
"that's just the way it is" and look for
remedies to alleviate the discomfort.
Shoes should fit from day one. If it hurts, it's
either the wrong size, or badly made - or both....
I get this problem with many shoes, it's why I stick to open footwear whenever I can. It's best not to tolerate heels being bitten as it'll only get worse - you can try wearing an elastoplast over the sore spot.
