I recently improved our censoring tool so that it will match and replace swear words no matter the mix of capitals and lower-case letters. We also edit out or delete any bad language or abuse to other members as a priority, and encourage reporting of any cases to improve our response time.

It goes without saying that a determined poster will always learn what is filtered and thus find a way to post their swear word in altered form, as you have just demonstrated. Sometimes even innocent words can be used in a context that is offensive so it's impossible to filter everything.

Members can and have received bans for this including recently, though usually we just edit the post to reduce the level of profanity. The way to ensure offensive posting is dealt with quickly is to report the topic, this report will then be sent by PM to the next available staff member to investigate.
