A massive earthquake measuring 7.4 on the Richter scale hit the Nepal border today. The epicentre of the quake has been pin-pointed to be 22 kilometres southeast of Zham in China along the Nepal border. The epicentre is reported to be 83 kilometres away from Kathmandu.
Delhi-NCR along with the whole of north India witnessed fresh tremors lasting up almost more than a minute. People were seen rushing out of offices and residential complexes
And the worst is that so many places in Nepal are inaccessable. It takes rescue workers days to reach such places. Read today of a man that, under NORMAL circumstances, has to take a flight from his hometown, to another city, then spend 3 days on a bus, and walk another 2 days in the mountains, just to visit his mom.
