Well mars is our safest bet on finding life on planets other than earth...this is a good thing but very less chances of survival..

You guys have no idea, what you're talking about.
The one way mars project is called Mars one. It's not by NASA. The project by NASA is different one.
One can't send animals on mars. Can they grow their own food, repair equipment? Lol

There have been no manned missions to mars, is it not then doubtful that NASA would send 100 people on a dangerous trip with unproven technology? Should anything go wrong it would be a PR nightmare of titanic proportions.

I read that the one who organized this set up an application online for a one way trip ticket to mars. 2 filipinos were accepted.
it will be a great and might be life changing event if its success.
