Mobile Phone's Evolution and My Love Life by

It was back in 2006, when I got my first phone, it was a humble one, Nokia 6030. It was simple, yet smart and I loved it. I used the phone for about 3 years. It was very very important as it was the only thing that could connect me to the man who lives far away from me, my love life, Liam... I remember the internet was slow back then, (2G I believed) , and how if the internet became slow I would feel worried and upset, because it meant I wouldn't be able to email him. We exchanged 2 emails per day, and how it was important for me to hear from him. If not I would just get upset.
My Nokia 6030 doesn't have a camera, and I remember I had to use my cousin's N73 to send him a photo of me via MMS. And in the evening, how he texted me telling me he received my photo. How he praised my look when I knew I wasn't pretty. He made me feel so special and important. And how I would use my sister's phone to take photos of myself to send to him. Not until I got my own camera phone about 2 years later..
And also how years go by, we have more ways of contacting our loved ones who are far from us. Like, the first application we used was Nimbuzz. It made reaching each other easier. And how sending photos was beginning to get easier and easier, where credit didn't have to run so fast through instant messaging. :D And I could easily send photos to him through instant messaging apps. Not just that, we even could send voice messages/notes through instant messaging these days, reducing the needs to make phone calls... Not that I'm happy, but I found it amazing how this creation has changed how we did things in the old days. Nevertheless those times will always be cherished forever.
I remember how I would recharge my credit every 15th of the month, and every time on his birthday so I could call him and hear his voice through the phone :D But most of the time he'd call me to save my credit :D
That's my story :') Tell me yours? Does phone revolution affect your relationship in any way?

I remember my main phone back in 2006 was the Nokia 6630, which was one of the first phones to use 3G and a popular smartphone of its day. It was a novelty back then being able to take pictures and upload them with a phone, and it had some great apps available including an auto call recorder for playing back those precious conversations in perfect quality And it could save an untold amount of texts as well. Even today this phone still works perfectly as I've looked after it and replaced the keypad, cover and battery more than once. Smartphones have evolved since then making it even easier to keep in touch through messaging, but it's worth remembering what phones are really great for and that's speaking
