the society by

we all live in a specific type of society... its bound by race, culture, religion, tradition and so on.
Do you differ from the ideals, norms or ways of the society you were born into? If so, how?
Me... I was born into a specific society bound by all of the above. Do I differ from its norms and way of thinking? Absolutely. I'm more open minded. Accepting. Understanding. I don't agree with most of their ways and norms. Which is why its hard to relate to them, and be myself. as you can see, I enjoy ranting, but I tend to walk away to avoid arguments that will be never ending or result in a fight. So I'm labeled as anti social, when its actually just my inability to conform to their ideas. Silence, its more than golden.

Exactly. Im different from my society. I am honest and calm, unlike the society i'm being born into. I'm happy because i'm doing stuffs that pleases me.

I'm gay and damn proud to be so. The society I live in, however, doesn't feel the same way I do. I live in a country where I'm at risk of being kidnapped and/or killed by government thugs if I dare voice an opinion against the president. But do I care? No. I love my country and I'm not afraid to walk the street with others who are against the corrupt government. I'd walk alone if I had to. I live in a society where people thinks its not normal for a woman over 30 to be unmarried. According to some of my "friends", I'd turn straight if I found the right man and got married. Well... I found the right man. But he wasn't right enough for me. He was a HE. I live in a society which thinks marriage makes everything right. Even if I was straight, I doubt I'd still get married. Its just not my thing. I live in a country where I can't adopt a child unless I'm married...to a man... Ugh! Never mind...

No... Not nevermind! Never ever nevermind. Your passion for the things you are against makes it possible for me to be even more against the things I'm already very much against.
You are who you are, and you are awesome just the way you are. And you love who you love, and its a she, never love a he because its ''normal''. what's normal? What is it truly? I have never met a normal person. Ever.

i was born and raised up in a confused society..i m from a thirld world country, my state has been torn up by terrorists and corrupt goverments, we have a muslim majority but we are embracing westernisation with open arms, throwing away our culture and becoming more westernised..my society sucks but it is still the best for me.
