ethereal: I just made chicken patties for lunch, it tasted nothing like chicken. It tastes very strange actually. So I decided to check the label to see if there is actually any chicken in it.
''traces of the following SPECIES may be present'' - first of all, why not use the term meat? Species sounds like deformed or worse.
Beef. Lamb. Pork. Chicken. Ostrich and venison. - venison could be anything. It could be a Kudu found half eaten in a bush.
Its not chicken patties, its a combination of meat from different species of the above.
it might also contain raw materials FROM or CONTAINING milk - raw materials from milk, that means materials within milk, did they take the milk apart and put all the hormones in the patties? and the materials with milk in them. That could be a whole lot of anything. That could be sheep nipples o.O . Yum
Lastly, the casing is either hog or sheep. You don't case patties. unless its not meat but liquid. Hog?!!
Do you read the labels or do you just eat something not caring what it is?
Warning: Not reading the labels can be hazardous to your health, however reading them can be hazardous to your mental well being ... damned if you do, damned if you do not.
