my mom got divorced, it took her 18 years to do that. 18 years of Hell. I wish she'd done it sooner. Her love didn't expire, when you have children with someone it can't, it just changes. Her devotion expired, her tolerance expired, her ability to fight expired, and her need to rekindle a love with someone she dislikes expired. Divorce is a nasty word until it becomes the means to liberation, unless you are married and truly unhappy with someone you have to face every single day you won't understand liberation nor divorce. Its the best thing she could have done for herself, if she didnt I doubt she'd still be here. The road to divorce is paved with depression, confinement, tears, anger, loneliness , helplessness and frustration. All of this didn't fit who she is, it made her nothing more than an empty shell. I watched her spirit die little by little every day. Now she's happy with someone else, and I have a lovely little sister.
I understand what you mean . Nothing is easy. Even marriage that love is supposed to bind #sigh# . Hmm I'll say all is good that ends well. Good for her and you too. I pray to God I never find myself there. I know it's every couple's dream. Yet divorce rear it's ugly head . But that won't be me and mine hopefully
