Education and manners are two sides of a same coin. Even though a person is well qualified. If he has no manners, means that he is not educated. We find many people of that kind around us.

Well, manners are taught and learned at home.Your parents are responsible in molding you into a well-mannered person. Not all educated person are well-mannered.You may be a highly educated person, but it doesnt mean you possess the best manner. You may be a respectable person but you dont respect others. In other words, education doesnt make us a well-mannered person because being respectful is an instinct. It is how our parents raised us.It is what our parents and our environment or the society influence us.

Education it is . Pls note education isn't confined to the four walls of a classroom alone. It involves everything you are being taught in life. Parents and school teachers have this duty. I'll go for education cause common sense is what you need to give respect. Or should an idiot cause he lacks education not have the common sense to know that he shouldn't tell his elders "pls shut up"??

I too believe manners begin in the home but there are ecceptions to the rule and sometime a person brought up with manner may not do so once out on his own.
