Whenever i feel like i've lived long enough to inderstand the world.. I seem to remember..
We started to dislike child's plays that we keep playing every morning..
That we use coffee as an excuse to stay awake.. Cause we are afraid of the darkness..
Cause it makes us think..
That we stopped Being afraid of the monsters that lived under the bed..
Just to start fearing the ones that sleep With us on the same bed..
That not even the abscence of light helps the mistakes to stop playing in our heads.. With the eyes closed..
That growing up means that time spent must be an investment, for the toughest years.. Unlike before, when time was a countdown till christmass gifts arrive..
I miss my kid's imagination, Being afraid of ghosts, the ones that now are the friends, ghost that give me a reason to keep living.. Memories..
Grow up means that i'm awake, while everything else is meant to collide..

Growing up also means responsibilty to me, I'm accountable to not just myself, also to my family, friends and the world around me.

I like your topic , so much true but yet growing up is not the end of the world , if you maintain to keep alive the child inside you , everything will seem as a piece of cake. Responsibilities are just part of life..kids innocence is something that can be kept alive , unless we give up on all those beautiful virtues that only kids have.
