I come before you
With my last breath
Knowing deep down
I'm close to death
There's so much on my mind
Things I have to say
But stumbling blocks
Are in the way....
I lived my life
Not always pure
The pain is unbearable
Too much to endure
Before I go to sleep
My family in your hands I lay
Let me say good bye
Give me one more day.....
This is my fate
I have accepted
I used to feel
Lonely and rejected
I know you hear me
I'm trying my best
To do what's right
Before you take me for rest.....
It hurts to know
I'll leave behind tears
This is one
Of my biggest fears
I guess this is a price
I have to pay
Guide me through the night into
ONE MORE DAY......
