friend ! would we close topic ?
HandsomeDon 2014/06/06 02:21
Friend , if you done all setting then check for already live conversation , mean if you already replied once and that conversation still exist in inbox then user can pm you , in this case your privacy already allow to continue received pm from that user. just delete all sent pm with help of admin. Now user can't pm you except buddy .

The privacy options for PMs do work, but there does seem to be some persistent confusion about their effect or whether they are set. Due to this, I will give some priority to making the features easier to understand and see. In the meantime, let me give some advice. If you choose the setting of buddies only, then only people who are either on your buddy list OR who have received a PM from you in the last two weeks will be able to send you a message. If you are in doubt the setting is in place, you may try making a test account and sending a PM to your main account from there. Note that every time you go to the settings page to update something there, you must choose your privacy setting again as the default is privacy off. This setting does NOT prevent anyone from viewing your profile, nor is it intended to. If you have public updates or comments anywhere then using the blacklist will not prevent these from being seen by the blacklisted user. Blacklisted users may also post in your topics, as it is only intended to prevent private rather than public interaction.

We welcome your valuable feedback and it will be used to improve the user-friendliness of 2wap in the near future.
