In nature,there is a balance among the plants,animals,and other wildlife.Each supplies the shelter and food that others need.If man interferes with nature,he often upsets this balance,so it is important that our natural resources be used intelligently.The intelligent selection of what can be changed or replaced in the community without harmfully disturbing the balance in nature is Conservation.Wildlife is conserved in game reserves,which are centres of tourist attraction, while the wildlife itself,provides both bush meat and sport.Land,which is good neither for agriculture nor forestry,may be used as game reserve.. THE BENEFITS OF WILDLIFE CONSERVATION.. (1) it provides research work for scientists..(2) it provides food for human consumption e.g. meat,fish,egg etc. (3) it can serve as tourist centre for pleasure and relaxation..(4) it can generate employment for some people..(5) it generates revenue for the government.
