At the street
The major cause of teen violence in the streets is the influence on them by their peer groups,in the sense that if a teenager keeps a bad friend surely that kid must be influenced by the bad behavior of his/her friend.
At home
Parents atimes makes their children violent by the kind of training they give to their kid. E.g if a smoking father always smoke infront of his kids they might try to imitate their thinking that their father is doing the right thing.
The community
In the community we have elders there to advice the teenagers on the right thing to do if his/her doesn't have the time for that,so if the elders in the community does not caution them or give them good advices they might go astray.
And other immoralities in the community can also influence a teenager to be violent.

how to solve these problems
Parents needs to caution their children and tell them th dangers of being violent in the society that it might cause them their lives.
They also need to stay away from bad friends and go close to friends that will influence them positively.
The elders in the community also needs to advice the teenagers also.
