Without scoring a run MS Dhoni orchestrated victory. He has rarely been lauded for the dexterity of his glovework but here he was whipping off bails with perfect judgment and timing to dispatch England's best and set India on course for another global trophy. And he never stopped plotting and planning, a calm beacon amid the wonderfully frenzied atmosphere of a packed Edgbaston. Dhoni knows how to win and he almost willed his irrepressible team over the line.

Boy that was a big call. He has the sudden gut feeling that a great captain needs. Like he did in the first 20-20 WC by giving the ball to joginder. Than in 2011 he came up at 3. Hats off

But Dhoni knew that if he did that, the two set batsmen will not take any risk. They will play sensibly and win. So he goes with his weakest bowler, knowing that the batsmen will attack him to try and close the gap between runs and balls. The gamble paid off. It could have gone totally wrong but if he hadn't taken that risk then India would surely have lost.

Ishant Sharma's that wicket taking ball after wide made him hero from Zero in a single ball
that was the point India came back again in the match and thanks to team performance they took this advantage to register an epic win.
