In Christianity salvation is a free gift given to us by God. In all other religions you achieve salvation through your works or good thoughts. In no other religion does the leader of that religion die so that his followers may be saved, and then return after death--demonstrating the eternal life we all can have. Christianity is the only religion in which love, including love for your enemies, is the central theme. Only Christianity offers absolute assurance of heaven and eternal life. In no other religion do we find God personally suffering with the people. You can be born Jewish; born Buddhist; born as a Hindu -- but it not possible to be born a Christian. Being born into a Christian family does not make you a Christian. How can one be born as Hindu or Buddhist? No one is born with any religion label. Besides, Buddhism is not even a religion. It's a way of life. If god wanted everyone to love each other, the first thing he should eliminate is religion.

I believe all religion's point is actually love, not only in Christianity, but also in Buddha, Islam, Hindu and perhaps in some other religion I'm not familiar with. Religion is a call and always contains a promise of an after life, whatever they call it. I personally think no religion is better than the other. I believe we're serving the same God. The fundamental point of every religion is basically the same, right is right and wrong is wrong no matter in what religion. The rest is just trivial matter which we human really love to pointlessly discuss and fight over.

I don't know about other such brainwashing religions, but Buddhism is definitely not one of them. There's nothing to be brainwashed about in Buddhism. In fact I have chosen Buddhism(Buddha's way) over Christianity.
