Samsung has announced the launch of its QWERTY smartphone Galaxy Chat today. The smartphone runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and has a dedicated button for company's ChatON messenger. Company seems to be taking on BlackBerry Curve 9220 with Galaxy Chat, as 9220 also comes with a dedicated button for BlackBerry Messenger.
There is no word on the pricing right but Samsung promises that it will be competitive. Galaxy Chat is set to go on sale starting this month in Spain followed by Europe, Latin America, Middle East, China, Southeast Asia, and Southwest Asia.
The smartphone comes with 3.0-inch display, 4GB of internal memory and 2MP camera. It also features Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi, and 1200 mAh battery.
