The jewel of stone cut lights
A knife blade shaped an exquisite beauty
Quivering on my ears
I like their sound
I think it’s the way the lady bird walks
I think it’s the way the sparrow
Moves its little wings
I think it’s the light whispering into my ears
The dark wounds of a carved jewel
