The brotherly trio got one over the menace of the seas, Jaws, recently. A fan bequeathed upon them the very useful and highly appreciated (?) present of a dead shark. "It was only a baby shark,"Nick said, "but they'd preserved it in this tube for us. That was odd." Yep. Craaaaaaazy.

Having not realised it was a strictly adults-only plaything, Buble handed it to his tour manager's daughter to play with. "She squeezed the bear and it said, 'I want to "beep" you!'" Buble said. "She said, 'Daddy, I don't want any more teddy bears.' I think I traumatised the poor kid."

The band's frontman, Jared Leto, has said the coolest and most surprising gift the band's gotten from a fan was an old silved sword engraved with some of their song lyrics. But much more often they get tattoos. As in: "Lots of people show up and they ask us in the band to sign with a Sharpie right on their skin and they go get it tattooed the next day. Then they'll show up at another show and they'll have their tattoo. That's always interesting..."
