Are You Addicted to the Internet? Well, there are very good chances that you are, in spite of the fact that you will respond negatively. You will not even think about it, and that is the main problem with this addiction. Spending time online has become so commonplace that people hardly ever notice when this habit turns into a real addiction.
Here are some tips on how to go about getting rid of an addiction such as this one:
1. Admitting - This is the first step in curing any addiction. If you want to get rid of it, you first have to acknowledge it, right?
2. Sticking to a schedule - It is very easy to lose yourself once you dive into the cyber world. People forget to eat or go to the toilet for hours, and all of this because the Internet takes over them completely. So, avoid this by making a schedule when you will use the Internet and for how long.
3. Using a timer - When you create a schedule regarding the use of Internet, use a timer to limit your use. If you have decided to give yourself half an hour each day, make sure to leave the computer after the time is up!
