I am having trouble with the photo editor on my Nokia 5800 XpressMusic. It enters the photo editor sometimes but it cannot edit photos. There are no photo editing controls displayed and it automatically exits editor mode if the screen is touched.
I have went on the Nokia website to look for downloadable firmware file but Nokia does no have that on their website. My phone software version is up to date, software version number: V 52.0.007.
Can someone plz tell me what to do? If i have to reinstall the phone software, where do i get the file from?

There maybe is one way to this. Factory reset your phone after taking back on nokia pc suite. Be sure you remember all the passwords. A reset works at times.

And yes you can try reinstalling the same firmware again by downloading it again. Sometimes it can replace the corrupt files.

I factory reset my phone. The problem still persists.
I connected the device to nokia suite and did a scan for updates...the suite does not give any option to reinstall the device software. I have also checked on the Nokia website for a downloadable file for device software, but there is no download link for phone device software.

i guess I will have to do just that...or wait for the next release of the device software version.
