The Lifecycle of a T-Shirt

Perhaps most of you didn't know this, so I'd like to share it. I got this from one of my beloved textbooks- Introduction to Management by John R. Schermerhorn.
Did you know t-shirt experiences a global life cycle? From the book, it mentioned Rivoli's t-shirt, well I don't know what t-shirt is that but just read this...
Starting from Texas where they extracted the cotton. Then the cotton will be taken to China to be manufactured into t-shirts. Then, the t-shirts are exported to the United States and will be sold to various stores by Americans sellers. Consequently, customers from the US will buy the t-shirts and, imagine if there are some tourists there, they'd buy the shirts and bring them back to their own country. As for the customers within the US, they'll eventually sell the shirts to e-bay, or perhaps if they're kind enough, they'll just donate the t-shirts to charity which will be brought to Africa.. And the next time we go to Africa, we'll be able to see the African people wearing the same shirts that were firstly extracted from Texas, then to China, then go to USA, before they go to various countries..
See, how amazing it is. Just t-shirts, yet they manage to travel around the world...
