Three dreams in one?? by

Let's call it nightmare, instead! See... When I see a bad/scary dream, I find myself waking up, IN MY DREAM, and then waking up a second or third time, again in my dream. It's only when I'm totally freaked out that I really wake up. And everytime I wake up inside my dream, I run to my mother, who passed away a few years back. And waking up inside the dream and opening my eyes or moving is such a challenge! Even when I try to open my eyes, I cant, or I still cant see. Getting off the bed is even more difficult. Then I see something bad, and then I wake up again, in my dream and go through the same situation. Happened to me last night. Any idea why that happens?

To dream that you are having a nightmare suggests that you are being overly indulgent and living a life of excess. You need to tone it down and allow the mind and body to rest and heal. Alternatively, the dream may mean that you are experiencing a set back toward your goals. You need to learn to take a negative and turn it into a positive.
To see the dead in your dream forewarns that you are being influenced by negative people and are hanging around the wrong crowd. This dream may also be a way for you to resolve your feelings with those who have passed on. Alternatively, the dream symbolizes material loss. If you dream of a person who has died a long time ago, then it suggests that a current situation or relationship in your life resembles the quality of that deceased person. The dream may depict how you need to let this situation or relationship die and end it.
To see and talk with your dead parents in your dreams represent your fears of losing them or your way of coping with the loss. You are using your dream as a last opportunity to say your final good-byes to them.

I had a similar kind of dream a year back, too. Where I wake up a couple of times in my dream before I really wake up. Happens when I see a bad bad dream.
Plus... Why would I see a very close family member sitting alone in a dark room, looking sad? And what does it mean to talk to someone who's seated in the dark, through the crack of the door, instead of fully facing him? Please help.
