LG has launched Optimus 3D in India as the first 3D smartphone to offer a glasses-free 3D experience. It runs on an old version of Android, the 2.2. The 2.3 update is in the works. HTC was not far behind. The company has also launched its 3D smartphone, EVO 3D at a similar price. With these phones, you cannot only watch 3D content on your phone but also capture 3D images and video with the Dual Camera setup. In case you own a 3D TV, you can view the footage by connecting the phone to the TV by a HDMI cable.

Some facts about Glasses-free 3D Phones
One can view content in 3D only when the viewing angle and distance are optimal, else you'll only see blurry images. The viewer needs to be exactly in front of the display.
At any point only one person can view the content in 3D, even the person sitting nearby might only see blurry images.
3D is an optical illusion, achieved by sending a different version of the same picture to the left and right eye.
The brain combines these images into a single 3D image.
A parallax barrier in the display eliminates the need for 3D glasses. This is the reason 3D smartphones might be slightly thicker than the rest.
The display on these phones can also function in 2D when the 3D is not needed.
You might experience dizziness if you view 3D content for extended periods of time. Frequent breaks are recommended by manufacturers.
Approximately 2-12 per cent of individuals cannot experience 3D. This condition is known as Stereo Blindness
