The term goblin simply refers to the uglier members of the mythical fairy race. Faires are small supernatural creatures of human form. They live in our world and are generally thought to be well disposed to play humans. However, they have been known to play pranks and it is best to treat them with respect. They are small, bueautiful, airy, nearly transparent in body, and can assume any shape.
-goblins- are particularly unkind to humans, causing mischief, switching human babies with changlings, causing insects to plaque men and animals, and other such activities. Goblins are said to be most active at Halloween.
