Yes another 2012 topic, I want to know all your views, Muslim, Christian, Hindu and all others how you see current events such as recent earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, Tsunamis, and flooding around the world, climate change etc.....Do you think its leading up to Dooms day in 2012? If so why do you believe that? And if it doesn't happen and you did believe it life goes on after 2012 just like other past Doomsday Prophecies what will you think? Wrong again? Or perhaps its all just not like yo were told in religious books, teachings and so on.....how will that be in your minds afterward? -think-

ok my opinion is there will b end in 2012 but not like all have bn told it will just b a new start of things, ie. climates will settle. we all seeing changes in mother earth and climates all over the world, which alot r seeing as signs as the end of the world. i believe by end of oct beginning of nov 2012 most of that will settle and will even out for the next 100 yrs or so

In the fourteenth, fifteenth, if I'm correct, century, a wave of particularly cold climate in Europe caused the failure of crops, and successively hunger and disease. Damp and lack of sunlight often made life difficult for people, other animals and vegetation. 'Sin', 'devil', and 'God's punishment' were the keywords used to explain the hardships which irregularities in climate brought. In the way a re-action to environmental impacts can occur in form of religious or para-religious superstition there can also be the prophetic version of the same; humans may then interprete anything they happen to come across -the ending of an ancient calendar, an article in some religiously inspired literature etc - as 'proof' of impending doom. This again leads to a form of witch hunting, whereby people become increasingly convinced their religion is THE religion etc. There have been times of much hotter or much colder climate (with all the natural corresponding effects) even in the tiny period of time during which humans have populated this planet. However, people mostly have, just like other animals, no concept of history, or of what could be learned from it. The belief that homo sapiens is the only mammal capable of observing, retaining and utilising history may be true in its principle, does, however, not have the practical impact on human life in the way it is taken for granted. Instead, humans refuse to make use of the mental capabilities they could have at their disposal, and prefer to be immersed in reiterated thinking about why 'God needs to punish them', or 'how they can repent their sins' - themes which, while they are entirely convinced of their indisputable reality according to their anthropocentrically limited thinking, are connected directly to what's going on around them (and because of them!).

I found out when the world ends anyway; the calendar on my phone finishes December 31st 9999, that's the end of the world because there won't be any calendar left. If I feel like it I'll buy a new phone just before then, but I won't promise.

2012 well it was quite sunny ,plus verry windy ,at times it was raining ,there hasnt been as much snow ,but the frosts have been bad...........and its all going to end on december 21
