All you hav to do is chuck in a different network's sim and the modem will ask for da unlock code...then enter the no. i shall given u n press ok to unlock.

your IMEI no. on the modem is never hidden...its either the back of the usb stick or at the sim-card slot...if it was a very sensitive thing...they could never hav even written it there...its given because they know at one time one can want 2 change ISPs!
