The longest stairway in the world is beside the niesembalm mountain railway in switzerland. It has 11,674 steps.
The largest book in the world occupied a 13 acre site in burina.the book tripitaka,is carved on 729 marble slaps,each one is 1.5metres long and 1.1 metres wide.to read the book one would have to spend 8hrs a day for 450days.
Cardinal mezzofanti could speak 114 languages,but never left his native ITALY. As a child in 1780s he heard a priest giving lessons in greek and latin,in a short tym he could speak bothe languages fluentaly. Chinese was the most difficult it took him 4 months to be fluent.
